Dr. Andrew Kakishita
And his fat cat...
It all started when Dr. Kakishita (Kuh-Keesh-Duh), as a teenager, picked up his fat cat and—oops!—threw out his back. Simple things like standing up from a chair, sleeping, and walking had become some of the most painful activities he had experienced. The incident led him to visit a chiropractor, and after a few visits, he was functional again! This experience with the chiropractor opened his eyes to the effect that simple adjustments can have on helping a person heal and return to the activities they love.
Following high school, Dr. Kakishita served a mission in Fukuoka, Japan for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Upon returning from his mission, he attended Brigham Young University in Provo, UT, and graduated with his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science ('20). In 2024, he graduated as Valedictorian of his class at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Now, he brings his passion and dedication to Kinetic Chiropractic!
